Instructors

 Owner of Complete Game Training Center and Hitting Coach at the University of St. Thomas (2010 - 2012).  Matt helped the St. Thomas Tommies to their 3rd place finish at the NCAA Division 3 College World Series in 2012.  Played 3 years of professional baseball before beginning his own baseball and softball training program 19 years ago.  Matt works with over 1,000 ball players of all ages per year and over the last five years has trained a total of 275 players who have moved on to play college baseball or softball. 

Complete Game’s Fastpitch Director and Head Fastpitch pitching coach. Katie was a four-year starter at the University of Minnesota and has been an instructor at Complete Game for 9 years.  She was also a High School Coach for five years at Elk River and Hill Murray. Katie offers year-round pitching programs at Complete Game, teaching proper mechanics to improve velocity, spin and control. She instructs pitchers of all ages, training many of the top pitchers in the metro. 

Complete Game’s Baseball Pitching Director and lead instructor. Chris was Minnesota's Mr. Baseball award winner in 2010 at Centennial High School. A standout at the University of Jacksonville and a first-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers (18th overall pick). Chris works with some of the best pitchers in the metro area, building velocity and control, while making sure players know how to take care of their arms. Chris is in his 5th season instructing at Complete Game. 

Has coached baseball and softball in Nebraska and Minnesota for 20 years.  He is one of the MN Moose club softball coaches and is Elk River's Head Softball Coach.  Jeff is an excellent hitting and works with our top baseball and softball club players.  This is Jeff's 5th year instructing at Complete Game. 

19th year instructing with Matt in this training program.  Excellent at teaching our hitters proper mechanics as well as developing their power.  A New Ulm native, Chad has instructed in the New Ulm youth program for six years and also coached their very successful American Legion team.  Chad also coached varsity baseball at Park Center for four years. 

Has coached varsity baseball in Minnesota for over 25 years between Champlin Park and Park Center.  Jeff has coached three teams that advanced to the Minnesota High School State Tournament.  He is great at teaching hitting and continues to work with some of our top hitters.  This will be Jeff's 19th year instructing with us in this program. 

 A four-year starter as a pitcher and infielder for St. Scholastica, Maggie is in her second year instructing at Complete Game. She is a current 14U MN Moose coach and Head Coach for Irondale High School. Maggie is an excellent hitting and pitching instructor. She breaks down the swing and is excellent at teaching proper mechanics, spin, and in-game approach to pitchers of all levels. 

 A former member of the University of St. Thomas softball team (2017-2020). Sophia is currently a 14U MN Moose Head Coach and was an assistant at Elk River High School in 2022. An excellent hitting and catching instructor, who breaks down proper technique as a hitter and catcher.  This is Sophia's second year instructing at Complete Game.
